What sporting facilities are available?

The Playing Fields can be used for a variety of Sports i.e. Football, Rugby, Cricket or for community events, galas, car rally’s etc. We currently have 3 Junior teams Football Teams and Welcome new Adult Football Teams. The playing fields have been used for Rugby and Cricket in past years however the facilities will need to be adapted to accommodate these sports once again in collaboration with the Parish Council. Any new requests will need to be approved by the Parish Council and then we will be able to book our changing rooms with you.

Can I book the venue for private events?

Yes, our club is available for birthdays, weddings, and corporate gatherings etc. Whatever your Event is we are happy to discuss your requirements and provide our advice to help you plan an enjoyable event. Explore our Booking Page and send us your request.

Do you have a bar or refreshments on site?

Yes, we have licenced bar services in each room serving a variety of drinks and snacks.

can i use my card at the bar or is it cash only?

Yes, you can. We accept the standard card types and of course cash too.

where can i find the club?

The Club address is 72 Sands Lane, Hunmanby, Filey, North Yorkshire, YO14 0LT. The club is on the outskirts of the village just across the railway tracks opposite the Piebald Inn.

is there a park for the children?

We have some swings and exercise equipment on the Playing Fields. There is also a patio area facing the playing fields.

Are children only allowed in the club at certain hours?

No, well behaved children are all welcome at all times under supervision with their parents. The only exception is during Adult Only Events. These Adult Only evenings are indicated on our Events Calendar.

are non-members allowed in the club?

Yes, everybody is welcome however we hope that you will become a member soon. The annual membership fee is only £10.

Is there parking available at the club?

Yes, we have ample free parking for visitors.

is there disabled facilities?

Yes, there is wheelchair access and disabled toilets.

Is there smoking facilities at the club?

Yes, we have a smoking shed and bins for cigarette butts. This is outside the exit door of the events room. There is also a patio area facing the playing fields. We DONT allow any smoking or vaping inside the Clubhouse!

are dogs allowed?

Yes, however we only accept well behaved dogs on a lead under supervision from their handler. Dogs are not allowed on the seating and if become noisy or out of control, the staff reserve the right to ask you to remove the dog so that our other guests can enjoy our services.
